The veggies in the veggie fajita needed a snorkel to breath ... totally submerged in oil. So much for healthy vegetables.

Came here for a late night dinner and really enjoyed it. My husband had the build your own nachos and I had to pry him away from them. He loved them so much. They arrived in a big pile of meat, cheese, jalapeños, guac and sour cream. I had the sour cream chicken chimichanga and it was just ok, the tortilla and chicken did not seem fresh. The salsa on the other hand, was fresh and delicious! We tried all 3, mild, medium and hot. Try the hot if you dare, great flavor and lots of heat.

Love it here! This is a must stop when we are in town. The petite Fajitas are just perfect, and come with all the fixings at a great price. The queso is also killer, that is if you can pull yourself away from the awesome salsa. They bring mild and hot versions to your table, then give you individual bowls so you can mix it to your own taste. They also have a very hot version that they will bring to the table if you ask! Be sure not to miss this place!

Don't judge a book by it's cover. This place looks like a haunted house from the outside. Windows blacked out, tacky colors and iron gates but inside has that classic mexican cantina feel. $.99 drink specials twice a week and 3 kinds of salsa with chips while you wait for your meal. I had the fish tacos (fried tilapia morsels, lettuce, with aioli on the side wrapped in a double soft shell. Simple and classic. My wife had the flank steak fajitas. nice flavor, fresh sides and wraps. We'll go back. Only downside is no bar inside the restaurant

Fun place, very popular and crowded but they have an outside bar with an awesome environment while you are waiting. The inside ambiance is great and the food was very good Tex-Mex. This place is not California Mexican. It's Tex-Mex, in other words Texas Mexican, and good Tex Mex. We had a great time. The salsa was THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD with chips! 4 instead of 5 stars because California Mexican is better than Tex-Mex, and it's what I'm used to, but a long time ago I lived in Texas, so I know what Tex-Mex is.

Solid Mexican with available takeout. Portions are ridiculous. Margaritas are tasty. I've had better and more authentic Mexican food and so have you. This isn't a place I'd go out of my way for - though others seem to rave endlessly about it. I enjoyed the kitschy/fun feel. Perfect for kicking off a vacation.

Always a must stop when I am visiting family in Naples. I love their menu, and the food is always above and beyond! And the happy hour is great too!

Good food and service. Prices were reasonable and the chips and sauces were great! Cute "Mexican" decor. Good place if you want some Mexican food.

Here's how my first visit to this place started-walked in and saw half-price beer. Nice start! I asked for a PBR, normally $2.50, so $1.25 tonight. The waiter says "we don't have that." WTF?! Not a good start. I had the flautas or taquitos and they were okay, a little overdone. The were dressed with some fresh veggies and guacamole, which was nice. The best part is the chips and salsa that comes immediately when you get there. I swear the chips are each half of a tortilla and there are a variety of salsas/sauces. I may give them one more chance and try something else.

  • Jason P.

Not the worst Mexican food I've had. Seemed a bit generic to me so I'm not really sure I would say it's authentic Mexican food. I asked them for pickled carrots and they had no idea what I was talking about.

I have been coming here for years and lately the food has been terrible. I always have the sour cream chicken and it was dry and tasteless I'm wondering if they change the ownership or something it just does not feel the same anymore needless to say I will not be returning to iguana Mia anytime soon

Our snowbird parents have taken us here a few times and we just visited it ourselves last weekend. There's usually a margarita special of which we partake. We each had one on the rocks and were definitely satisfied. Lime, salt, tequila. Nothing wrong there. The chips came with three tomato salsas and a lime crema. The pico and the spicy salsas were our favorite (the third was a chunky salsa). The lime crema was a nice touch and very tangy. We each had an enchilada plate with rice and beans, shredded beef for the husband, shredded pork for me. The enchiladas were tasty and the both black and pinto beans were quite good. The rice was a bit boring and overdone. We had a great time and a good dinner.

Not good-- cheap low quality ingredients no sure what I tried to eat.. Nothing authentic here... A lot of food large portion but bad server was nice, not the cleanest place... But if you what a lot of grease and can cheese its for you

  • Jessie H.

I got here tonight, and opened the menu " was I in the same place" ? Asked the waiter what the heck was up with the prices, and he told me they changed the menu and pricing around 3 weeks ago. Good food- but I will find the same quality with a better price.

Best Mexican in Bonita Springs. My family and I had lunch here on Saturday 5/9 for my wife's birthday. The restaurant offers a complimentary birthday lunch, which is awesome. Terry took incredible care of us. One of the best experiences in a restaurant (with the kids) that I can recall. Kudos and thanks, Terry. We had: chips and salsa, fajitas, chimichanga, Mexican pizza, enchiladas, quesadillas, guacamole, queso, fried ice cream, margaritas, and more. The drinks were tasty and strong and the meals were high quality and tasty. This is our new go-to for Mexican.

We were on a date night and was looking for a great affordable Mexican restaurant and this place hit the Mark. We had to wait about 20 min to get in which is always a good sign. Food was fast and hot with great service. The food was really good and the check was very easy on the wallet for the quality!

  • Barbara N.

I always get chicken and shrimp fajitas. Without even looking at the menu. Always consistent and good, comfort food. Huge tasty margaritas, I always get their house one with a shot of grand marnier, delish. I tried the other one that they offer and didn't like it so I'll stick to the house one. Definitely nothing fancy. Decor super cheesy but I guess that's what they are going for. Give it a try.

Always passed by and got me curiius. This time I decided to give this place a shot. To my surprise the chips and dips were very fresh. Portion was too much for a one sitting. Some might like it. Good one in bonita springs.

We thought this was great. Originally, our plan was to go to Skye's restaurant in fort Meyers. However, their prices were high for Mexican cuisine. We found Iguana Mia and were so pleased. It was Wednesday and their special was BOGO on their entrees with the purchase of a drink. The food and the margarita were delicious. Atmosphere was neat and service was very good.

We have been wanting to stop here for months, snow birds are gone so we gave it a try. excellent

  • Karley M.

Ordered the steak and chicken fajitas, tortilla soup with chicken, and the pork tostada dinner for take out and the order exceeded my expectation! They give you two huge bags of freshly made chips and 3 large containers of their fresh salsa which is to die for! Everything tasted great! We will definitely be coming to the restaurant to eat some more delicious food!!

Caveat: we lived in Houston, TX for eight years. Houston has the best Mex-Mex outside of Mexico and the best Tex-Mex anywhere. You can't swing a cat without hitting a Mexican restaurant that's WAY better than all from our previous city, Washington, DC. So, unfortunately, this is what Iguana Mia is being compared to. Chips and salsa: chips were good but were not salted enough. Two salsas: smooth and chunky. Both red. Chunky was serviceable. Smooth tasted like marinara with a few jalapenos and some cilantro added. Definite Italian notes. This would become a theme. Drinks: my wife's skinny 'Rita was too sweet but I thought the tequila tasted pretty good. On a (very) positive note: this is a Mexican restaurant with an honest-to-goodness IPA instead of the usual, lame Mexican and American lagers. Point, I.M. Entrees: I had the Blue Cheese, Bacon & Steak Molten Fajita from the Seasonal Menu and it was good. I especially liked the toppings I could add on my own: tomatoes, LOTS of cilantro, lettuce, cheese, lime, crema, pico, and a really good hot sauce which they might have made on the premises. My wife had the Chimichanga with red sauce. Again, red sauce was VERY Italian-tasting. We were expecting ranchero. Her side of grilled veggies was VERY Italian-tasting. We think it might have had something like Italian salad dressing on it. So odd. Unfortunately, Iguana Mia *may* be one of the best Mexican restaurants in Southwest Florida.

Three of us ate here the other night for the first time. We all had something different and everything was very tasty. The salsa was awesome both mild and hot. The guacamole was made fresh and was also very good. Will be back for sure

So this is two years in a row in which we came here while in the area. Both times we had similar experiences; great food, HUGE portions, good prices, great atmosphere, great service, and yummy food. We came on a Wednesday this time and they had a two for one entree special for adults. We got the house Margarita and it was delish and huge, and only $6!! Our party had steak tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas, and they were all great! We had Guac for an app, and the only complaint I had was it was my spicy enough. The chips and salsa pre meal were plentiful and came with spicy and non-spicy salsa. All tasty! This place is awesome!!

    (4)
  • Jessica R.

I had not been here for almost a year and like other reviewers noticed, they had a price increase. We got there around 6 pm and there was a wait of about 15 minutes. I got my favorite, the chicken and beef fajitas, and it was good as usual. One complaint though. I love guacamole and they always included it on the plate. Now it is in a bottle with the other sauces, and I was told it was "made fresh daily". It is basically watered down guacamole. Pretty disappointing. That said, the wait staff was very good and we were served promptly. My husband liked his enchiladas. It is still a nice place but won't run back.

    (3)
  • L P.

Our food was hot and fresh. I got chicken tacos and hubs got a rice bowl. Portions were large, and our bill was $30 for two meals and two sodas.

Excellent salsa! Generous portions! Reasonable prices! It's all Good!! Bien!! Hot stuff!

Love the food, and free meal on your birthday. Can't beat that. I definitely recommend iguana Mia's

    (4)
  • Gloria S.

Back on track. Kudos to Manager Glen. Everything is good again. Service, food, chips, atmosphere. TIP: Ladies, ask for cushions to sit on if you are at the hard, cold booths. I get 2!

    (4)
  • Jenn L.

The customer service stinkssssss..went the day before and made reservations for a large group. Was told we would have a table at 6. Arrived a few minutes early and oh we just sat two large parties . Manager said we don't take reservations but our name was on the iPad for 6. Will not be going back there.

    (1)
  • Michelle S.

Very slow . Double whatever wait time they give you. Then half the tables are open when you finally get in. Must be better option around here !

  • Misty K.

Five stars is not enough. This place ... OMG ... is AWESOME!! My brother had the enchiladas and I the chicken breast fajitas. We also tried the tortilla soup, churros and fried ice cream. The food was all so delicious I wanted to cry. The atmosphere is very colorful and tasteful. Javier was our server and aside from being a doll, he was very attentive. The 20 minute wait breezed by and was well worth it. They were very busy but food and service were top notch and suffered in no way. Our new favorite place. We will absolutely return. I'm salivating just thinking of our meal. Again, OMG!!

Iguana Mia has quite the reputation and is reportedly VERY crowded during the 'snow bird' busy season. Well this visit took place in July so we walked right in and sat down pretty quick! The decoration and ambiance is great although it's a little on the loud side. The booth has the look of something soft but when I plopped my butt onto it I realized the seat was hard....OUCH! Well we started off with a Margarita in a VERY fancy glass which was just so so. The salsa was good but the chips...not so much (store brand taco shells anyone?).. At our table we had fajitas (which were good) enchiladas(good) and the 'special' spicy chicken crema dish(edible but nothing to rave about). Portions were rather skimpy as well.. The decorations of the restaurant were fabulous and very festive, The presentation of the food was immaculate but the taste of the food left something to be desired. The pap-pitas or whatever they call them sound interesting but are nothing more than the tiny cubed potatoes you would find at any Shoney's breakfast buffet!

    (2)
  • Yvonne M.

Good food, inexpensive, not too long of wait times even in season! Def recommend! They have great fajitas! Love the chips & salsA! $1 margaritas are a great deal! Free birthday dinner & fried ice cream is a plus!

  • Taylor F.

I remember coming here on a family trip to Ft. Myers, so we wanted to come back! Loooonnnng wait, on a thursday night, in January. After an hour or so, we finally made it in, I made my own quesadilla, which was excellent if I do say so myself :p The other food was good I heard. Our waitress was very nice, knowledgeable, and the decor was just as cute and festive as I remembered it. The wait and sitting on the hard concrete booths decreased our likeness. I would still go back, maybe in the summer when it isn't as busy!

  • Mia G.

I ate there with my in laws for my husband's birthday. My mother-in-law and I both ordered the Taco Dinner, hers beef and mine chicken, which were both so incredibly dry that it was difficult to chew. Thankfully there was a lot of extra toppings and sauces to add, but it didn't make the meat taste any better. I also ordered a house margarita that ended up saving the day. Great atmosphere and great salsa.

  • Michael N.

Huge Mexican food fanatic. While this restaurant isn't the heart of Mexico, it's really good. I've been eating here for years. I'm a salsaholic & their salsas are divine. The food is always fresh & hot. They have great specials whether it be the .99 cent margs, free bday dinner, bogo, etc. I seldom have any problems with service, though it's kind of funny & strange that every time I order (in English or Spanish) black beans, they bring pinto. Highly recommend this place

    (5)
  • John R.

We ordered take out so I cannot comment on the service, however, the food was ready for pickup in no time and you do get a lot (and in the case of take out, well packed) food for your money. The pork burrito I had was great. The sides were good and the other samplings at the table were all good. Perhaps not the greatest I have ever sampled but certainly at or above the enjoyable average. The real test for any place is would you go back for another meal and for me the answer is yes for Iguana Mia.

    (3)
  • Laura R.

I always feel like I'm looking at the menu at Iguana Mia's and never find exactly what I want. It's pretty reasonably priced with a lot of the staples, but nothing every stands out as something I can't wait to try again. Most recently I had the grilled chicken burrito - it was fine and I was hungry, but it needed something - maybe more cheese? Service is pretty fast and the chips and salsa are both good. So I'd recommend if you want Mexican but don't know of any place better to go.

    (3)
  • Gregory D.

it was a rainy day and there was a wait of about 30 min for lunch. i like mexican cuisine in general even though i have to admit im not its biggest fan. very interesting and rustic decor. we had to ask for somebody to serve us and we were not asked if we'd like another round of beers. their loss! not a big problem for us because we wanted to leave that place as quickly as possible. food-nothing to write about, very plain and small portions. i personally wont go back but i guess to each its own. i really mean one star (not zero stars)

    (1)
  • Jamie N.

Not real good , menu changed recently. Used to come here often. Will not be back! Beef was real salty as well as the enchilada sauce. Could not tell the difference between the two it was so salty. Portions changed as well. Another negative is the new menu is not as nice as the one it replaced. Service is down too, when I returned my meal after two bites, they took it off the bill but did not even ask if I wanted to order something else. Very indifferent in my opinion . My advice, go someplace else.

    (2)
  • Curt F.

Very good mexian food, this is where I go for mexican while in south florida. The salsa is some of the best I've ever had. The fish tacos are good but not great, its hard to find fish tacos to compare to the ones near big beach on the food truck in maui. But it is a place I often visit.

    (4)
  • R S.

We always try to make Iguana Mia a regular stop when we stay in Naples. You have to be willing to come before 6 in season or be willing to wait and enjoy Margs and Dos Equis. We really enjoy their Burritos, Enchiladas and 4-7 Happy Hours. Ask for cushions in the booths if you want or you can have a special Marg and forget about the cement seat. We will be back and recommend it to our friends.

    (4)
  • Tania G.

love a 99 cent margarita! And it was good. Loads of food go hungry..great chips delish salsa and fast service. Very reasonable $$.

  • Thomas R.

Food is terrific Service so so One waiter came out of bathroom stall and did not wash hands. OMG right in front of a customer

    (2)
  • Steve J.

I do have to start off on a positive note the food was good, but the service deserves one star. We come down to the Fort Myers every spring and frequent Iguana Mia. The service has never been this bad. We had to ask twice for the complimentary chips and salsa. Another server had to get our refills and the other server checked on us after we received our meal. Lack of management on the floor might be the reason. I hope the management staff reads this and refocuses their attention to the service. No matter how great the food was we had a terrible experience due to the service.

    (2)
  • Jennifer H.

We used to enjoy Iguana Mia. It didn't necessarily knock our socks off but they served fairly good Mex. Visiting this winter, the general quality of the place has gone down. The food seemed blander and more ordinary. And the service was just okay. Guess it's time to find a new fave Mex place in the area.

  • Carly O.

I loved the frozen strawberry margarita and the kids menu had some really nifty activities on it. The chips and salsa were yummy and the atmosphere was fun. I got chicken flautas and they were pretty good. Nothing against the restaurant, I've never had flautas so it may just be my personal taste. The other people in my party really liked their meals. One was the create your own quesadilla. Overall, I'd recommend it :)

    (4)
  • Austin J.

Okay mexican food. I like the variety of salsas offered with the chips. Usually, I get the steak and chicken fajitas. They're pretty good, but not great. I've had a few other entrees before, but they were unmemorable, so I don't remember much about them, except that I was unimpressed. Plus, it's usually packed, as it's one of Bonita Springs few good Mexican restaurants.

    (3)
  • Katie O.

I liked the pinapple margarita and the price was right. I remember the chips and salsa and queso being good. I dont' really remember what else I ordered but remember it was pretty good. I like it! The decor was fun too.

  • Becky P.

Tis was our first time at Iguana Mia's and it won't be our last! From the inexpensive margs to the outstanding service, we couldn't have asked for a better meal. The food was very good, and there was plenty of it. As a matter of fact, there was more than any of us in our party could eat. The chips and salsa were fresh, the steak fajitas were sizzling and the beef tacos were excellent. While the food was very good, our server, Christy, was OUTSTANDING! Se was attentive, offered suggestions and was very personable. We felt like we had known her forever. While some reviews may say otherwise, I think that if you are looking for a Mexican restaurant that will satisfy the whole family, this is the place to go.

    (5)
  • Greg J.

Not bad for Mexican in BS. Fajita were good but not amazing. Chips and salsa are great. Burrito wad good. Would go back but would never crave this restaurant.

    (4)
  • Jeremy D.

Went in around two, service was slow with hardly anyone there. They got the order wrong. They advertise as tex-mex it's far from it. Who puts Parmesan on tacos and refried beans? This place has gone down hill, if you like frozen food taste, it's the place.

    (1)
  • Bruce S.

We used to love this place. Recently we were charged $2.00 for cheese sauce on a vegetarian burrito. (Which would have been fine if it was amazing but the whole dish was awful. Who likes Zucchini in a burrito?) I tired a $1.00 Margarita at happy hour and it tasted just like what, in retrospect, you would think a $1.00 Margarita would taste like. We'll try again next year. Maybe they'll change the menu and get some good vegetarian options.

    (2)
  • Les S.

Back for another year and Iquana Mia has not changed - at least that I can tell. My wife and I stopped for the Monday 99 cent margaritas and lunch. We still love it.

    (4)
  • Dan S.

I have no complaints. It was the best Mexican food I have had. The service was good and the atmosphere was creative. The price was reasonable. Authentic Mexican food. The chips were big and three varieties of salsa sides. The portions were big and margaritas were super.

    (5)
  • H A.

Been there twice. Our favorite "authentic" Mexican place doesn't serve Margaritas, so this is our alternate. I've had the chicken fajitas, the black bean soup, and the grilled fish tacos with rice and beans. All were very good. The service was, if anything, over attentive, with the waiter coming to the table three times after delivering the food. But he got the order perfect even though we both made changes to the items ordered. The food was fresh and tasty. Nice variety of salsas and hot sauces. The premium Margarita is the way to go at $8.

    (4)
  • Melissa C.

Service was so slow. When we finally got it, half of our orders were cold and one was completely wrong all together. The fajitas are definitely the better option on the menu.

    (2)
  • Alex S.

Truly terrible. My family has been going to iguana mias for years. It's convenient and the food has been consistently okay, which works for us since there aren't many good Mexican options close to us. Tonight, however, things were inexcusably bad. Crazy slow service, dried out food, orders came out wrong, and so did the bill. Normally I would excuse a one time bad experience but no one seemed to care about our epically horrible evening or try at all to just do the minimum (like clear a huge pile of plates when asked). I will not be back.

    (1)
  • Jonathon S.

I'm only giving one star because I have to to write a review. I'm not one to complain about a restaurant, if i don't like i don't go back, but after my last trip to Iguana Mia's I feel I must put out a warning to anyone thinking of going here. We went to this place for a birthday and will NEVER go back. Worst restaurant experience in Naples. Worst waiter, idiot manager, overcooked food (after waiting 40-50 minutes) after we got our terrible food our terrible server never returned, except to refill a coffee ($2.50 per cup no refills that's worse than Starbucks for burnt restaurant coffee). The best part came after we had all finished we sat there waiting for someone to take our plates. It even got so bad I asked the server if he could remove some plates (6 people at a small table) he said "sure senior" an walked away. He NEVER took one plate or glass from the table. And then our bill was wrong. WORST SERVER EVER. We've been here many times and thankfully I can say this will be the last. Avoid at all costs. Drive to Naples park and eat at Salsa brava don't eat at this dumpy tourist trap.

    (1)
  • Lee R.

In contrast to other reviewers, my family had a wonderful experience here. We were looking for a little break from all the seafood and found a good one. I was a bit dismayed that they didn't have pitchers of margarita until I saw the size of their individual drinks. Plentiful in one word. Food was also plentiful and tasty. Service was good. Quick on refills with both salsa and drinks. It may have helped that we were there during the off season, but I would definitely return. The only admonishment I have is that it is better for tex-mex than traditional Mexican.

  • Darren R.

Enjoyed this restaurant. I give it 3 stars because it delivered what I expected -- very nice meal.

    (3)
  • Monika K.

earned their 4th star with their delicious chicken tortilla sopa with fresh slices of avocade. tacos al carbon were good but not outta this world, i enjoyed my meal more this time around. perhaps it was bc i was hungover or just starved but it was tasty

    (4)
  • Michael S.

Good service and food! Margaritas are top notch, but something was missing from previous visits. You must try at least once, though señor tequilas is just as good if not more authentic....

    (3)
  • Sam G.

This is a fairly mediocre resto that would probably satisfy most reasonable people's needs and/or a group, if you can handle the waiting. Foodies should search out a better option. If you want something quick and by the way much cheaper, go to Taco Mix down the road. The good: - Corn chips and salsa they give you when you sit at your table, pretty delicious - After seeing everyone carrying out left overs, we ordered no apps and three fajitas (two regular size, one petite) for four people - that was enough - Its packed - which delivers a certain ambiance - Service was capable; bartender in the waiting area was fun The bad - 30-40 minute wait at 5:30 - Nothing special about the fajitas, really... assembly line quality - No draft beer in the waiting area

    (3)
  • Lisa M.

Average american/mexican food,99cents margarita nites always busy usually w/a wait.

    (3)
  • Bert K.

    reasonable prizes,good food often too crowded !!! :-(( Mondays = Margarita night !!! :-))))

    (3)
  • Jack S.

I looove their Tortilla soup, just hold the cheese chunks please! Free chips and salsa, delicious margaritas. Great place for families or groups of friends.

    (4)
  • Nicholl M.

The margaritas are good, but thats pretty much it. The food is nothing to write home about, personally I would prefer to get a meal at Chipotle or Tijuana Flats - at least then I would get some flavor!

    (2)
  • Jennifer M.

My husband and I drove by this restaurant a lot and the parking lot was always crowded so we thought, hey it must be good, right? Wrong. This is the worst tasting Mexican food my husband and I have ever had. We both ordered chicken tacos and it had absolutely no flavor. What's worse is that they topped the plates with store bought shredded cheese, not authentic Mexican cheese. Having lived in Chicago for years, we were spoiled with excellent Mexican food. To call this food Mexican is criminal. Its more like a very bad interpretation of commercialized Mexican food. Its geared directly for those that can only eat bland, generic, tasteless food. If you want real authentic Mexican food go anywhere else!

  • Robin T.

We had a great experience late afternoon on a Saturday. Waiting for a table gave us time for well-made margaritas, enjoying the evening breeze and people-watching. When the Ezekial party was escorted to its table, we were greeted with a a bowl of fresh, large taco chips and three choices of salsa. The mild was chunky and made with fresh ingredients. It suites my wife fine and I liked it mixed with their medium. The wife had a quesadilla with chicken. I had a mahi mahi entree with sides of rice and steamed zucchini with garlic. The mahi had a great fresh salsa covering and the rice had lots of goodies in it. See photo. All that would have gotten 4 asterisks. The 5th star is for value. Excluding the drinks, the bill was under 20$!!! Don't go to this restaurant if you want a quiet, romantic atmosphere. The surfaces are hard and the people are having fun. It's loud. Ok? Great place. Go there.

If you've read my reviews, you know I don't like much Mexican food. But about once per week, I have to succumb to the wishes of my wife and go for Mexican, since it is her favorite. We had driven past this place a few times, noting the garish bright green paint outside, but also noticing the 99 Cent Margarita Mondays sign out front too. So, since it was Monday.....we went. No reservation, but the greeter said it would be about a fifteen-to-twenty minute wait. No problem, since we went to the nearby bar and ordered our first 99 cent margarita. Expecting it to be watered down, it was not, and it was tasty and just strong enough and filled a 16 oz. glass with a salted rim. We didn't even get finished with that before we were called to our table, settled our $2.10 bar bill and went into the dining room. That is when we were both very pleasantly surprised. The decor was beautiful, so unlike the outside and even the typical bar decor we had just left. Track lighting, dim, with beautiful burnt silvered wall decorations on dark tan walls, and comfortable banquette seating--quite a juxtaposition from what we were expecting. Our server, Ashley, was friendly and warm and welcoming, and she proved to be very attentive throughout the rest of the night and not annoyingly so. In fact, she apologized for making us wait, but we never had felt neglected. My wife ordered one of her favorites, the chicken burrito platter, and I decided to go with the cheese and jalapeno nachos, one of my go to items that I can tolerate in a Mexican restaurant. They offered to include choice of meat for $2.00 more, and one of those choices was bacon! So naturally being your standard male bacon freak, I went with that and was really surprised at the taste. It was a mixture of blend of two cheeses, fresh sliced jalapenos that were not so hot to be damaging, but very flavorful, and thick slices of delicious bacon chopped and distributed on each nacho. One thing I hate about nachos is when the toppings do not cover at least part of every chip, and my wife knows this and noticed that each chip was covered when Ashley placed it in front of us. The bacon added so much--we are going to start doing this at home and am embarrassed we have not thought of this before ourselves. Topped this off with another round of 99-cent margaritas, and we had a wonderful night. Total bill with tip: $28 for four drinks and filling entrees! We glanced over our shoulders as we left, making sure that the cops weren't following us for stealing! Don't miss this wonderful bargain and we understand that they also have restaurants in Bonita Springs and Fort Myers. What a nice surprise! She's starting to change my opinion about Mexican....

Amazing food (Santa fe Steak wrap is insanely delicious and such a good value!). I also recommend the guacamole, the sour cream chicken, and the fried ice cream! I love the drive through window-very convenient for fast dinners where you don't want to go inside! Management is always very nice and has helped me with big catering orders as well as small issues (they once forgot to include our chips with our to go order and they gave us a free large queso when we went back to get them) Only complaint....there have been 2 times where the tip that appears on my bank statement is larger than what I actually left. One time they added $30 extra dollars (on a large catering order) even though i left $15 in the tip line and no one said anything to me... I've never complained though because I love the food and don't want to burn bridges with a local place. Free dinner and fried ice cream on your birthday!!!!

Was pleasantly surprised after our huge lunch here. I expected that this joint would be a generic version of Chili's and it was not. Prices are reasonable and the service was good. I ordered the chicken/steak fajitas and only received the steak which was awesome. Margaritas were 24oz for six bucks. I will definitely go back for the fajita dinner which comes with excellent beans and rice.

It's been 18 months since we moved to Naples from Fort Worth, Texas I we all agreed that this was the best Mexican food we've had since we left Texas! Delicious all around. We will be back--maybe on a weekly basis. We also loved the tile mosaics. Nice art work. Thanks! Roy & Nanc Threet

Ugh. Inside is very American trying to be stereotypical Mexican architecture and design which isn't a bad thing. Seats are insanely uncomfortable because there cement lol. Service is a hit or a miss. The food is hot and good while your eating it. It's after which is the problem. I've only eaten here twice and both times my expierence after has not been pleasant one bit. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Great selection of food and they had corona on draft! We visit here for our "Mexican " fix when we are in town and have never had a bad meal. Fajitas, burritos are our staple and we have never been disappointed. Margaritas on the rocks are very good also.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
